Dyeing
As a cotton innerwear manufacturer, colour consistency and fabric softness after dyeing are critical to customer satisfaction. Our in-house dyeing unit processes knitted fabric using controlled dyeing cycles suited to cotton and cotton-blend yarns.
Colour-fastness, shrinkage and hand-feel are tested after each dyeing batch, ensuring the fabric used in our final garments looks and feels consistent order after order.
- Batch dyeing suited to cotton and cotton-lycra fabrics
- Colour-fastness and shrinkage testing
- Finishing treatments for softness and comfort
Dyeing fabric for innerwear is different from dyeing fabric for outerwear, because it sits directly against the skin. We calibrate our dyeing cycles to avoid harsh residues, targeting a soft hand-feel alongside accurate, batch-to-batch colour matching for shades used across our brands and OEM programs.
After dyeing, fabric passes through finishing treatments that improve softness and reduce shrinkage before the cutting stage. This step also stabilises the fabric’s stretch behaviour, which matters for waistbands and other fitted areas of innerwear.
Every dyed batch is checked against an approved shade reference before it is released to cutting, so that garments produced across different production runs remain visually consistent.
